Our library provides a social space to meet, collaborate, research, learn, share, and relax. The staff work to develop a reading culture and raise the levels of information literacy across the school by leading students through processes which empower them to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers and skillful, efficient and discerning researchers.

The Oliver library management system, together with the ACEN digital library provide 24/7 access to a wealth of authentic, authoritative, age appropriate resources to specifically meet student and staff needs.

Homework Club

Our Library is also the home of our Homework Club which runs from 3-4.30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Homework Club is run with the support of our staff and a group of Holy Spirit alumni. It is an opportunity for students to have a quiet space to do further study afterschool and receive guidance from former students of the college. Here, students can receive personalised learning and support for assessments or advice regarding opportunities post-secondary school.

NSW Premier’s Reading Challenge

Each year students are Involved in the Premier Reading Challenge and celebrate Book Week with esteemed authors visiting our college to talk with and inspire students.
