FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Over the last couple of weeks Australia has been immersed in the Federal election, including advertising about the potential candidates for Parliament, the initiatives, the promises and the myriad of projects that, once elected, will benefit the people of Australia. On Monday May 30, we as a nation also celebrated Reconciliation Day, a day which remembers more than 90% of Australians voting in a referendum in 1967 to remove clauses from the country’s constitution which discriminated against Indigenous and Torres Strait Islanders.
